Terms and Conditions

While He Works operates in London and Paris. While He Works Limited is registered in England No. 5716093 at 49 Parsons Green Lane, London, SW6 4JA

For London, our charges are £480 per day and £270 per half-day per person. A deposit of £150 is payable at the time you submit the booking form; on receipt of the deposit we will prepare your individual Day Plan.

For Paris, our charges are €480 per day and €270 per half-day per person. A deposit of €150 is payable at the time you submit the booking form; on receipt of the deposit we will prepare your individual Day Plan.

Once we have agreed the Day Plan with you, the balance of our fee is payable prior to commencement of your personal tour. The deposit is non refundable. We accept payment by HSBC Cardholder Payment Interface (CPI).

We request a minimum of 72 hours notice for all bookings.

Our charges cover the preparation of the Day Plan, our services as a guide and use of the guide’s car. All other costs (alternative transport, food & drink, entrance fees and any purchases that you choose to make) will be for your account.

If, for any reason, you are unable to make your appointment, you must inform While He Works as soon as practicable. If you inform us that you are unable to make your appointment less than 72 hours in advance, there can be no refund. If more than 7 days notice is given we will deduct the deposit and refund the balance of our charges. If notice is given less than 7 days prior but more than 72 hours prior to your booked tour then we will deduct the deposit and refund 50% of the balance of our charges.

We will propose a Day Plan that accommodates as much as possible the things you want to do during your stay in Paris or London. Sometimes it will not be possible to do everything on the Day Plan, either due to circumstances outside our control or because you want to spend more time at a particular location or you see something else you want to do. We will let you know if we are running out of time to do the things identified in the Day Plan or if it will not be possible to do the things proposed on the Day Plan.

The Day Plan we propose is based on our experience of living and working in Paris or London, and these are places that we have enjoyed visiting. However, we cannot take responsibility for goods or services provided by third parties such as transport, meals and drinks, items purchased by you, entry to museums etc.

All property carried by you and any of your possessions left in the guide’s car, including goods purchased by you during your personal tour, are done so entirely at your own risk and we are not responsible or liable for any loss or damage to this property under any circumstances.

We have the right to refuse to complete the Day Plan if you are thought to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs or if your behaviour poses a threat to the Guide or the reputation of our company.

We do not disclose any customer information to any third party. All personal details submitted to us are for our use only. We will not pass your personal data to a third party without your permission.

Please ensure that you bring your own passport (with the appropriate visa if necessary) or a valid ID Card to ensure that you comply with local laws.

Any bookings made with [WhileHeWorks.com/company name] shall be governed by and subject to these Terms and Conditions, the Booking Form and the Day Plan. No variation to these Terms and Conditions shall be of any effect unless contained in the Day Plan supplied by While He Works. The Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
